WHO WE ARE
The Seaside Singers was formed in early 2017 to fill the need for a community choir east of the Cooper. The choir welcomes men and women who love to sing, who can blend with other voices, who can commit to regular attendance at rehearsals and performances, and who have a general ability to read music. Members join for either/both the fall or spring season. Member dues cover the cost of operating the choir; however, no one is denied membership due to an inability to pay. The choir is governed by a Board of Directors, and is a registered 501(c)(3) Non-profit Corportation.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to promote high-quality choral singing and enhance the cultural life of our community. We perform music that appeals to general audiences, including pop, Broadway, patriotic, light classics, and seasonal favorites. We strive to develop a pleasing and unified sound, using good choral technique.
